OUR STORY

Tres Luzes Bakehouse is a small-batch coastal bakery based in Florida, creating cookies made with wholesome ingredients and a touch of nostalgia. Each recipe is crafted from the heart of our home inspired by family, faith, and the joy of sharing something sweet and real.
Our signature cookies like the Surfer Cookie, Power Break, and Oat Glow are baked with clean, feel good ingredients that fuel everyday life without sacrificing that chewy, bakery-style bite.
The name Tres Luzes means “three lights,” a nod to our children and the bright moments that inspire everything we make. Our mission is to bring comfort, joy, and connection one cookie at a time.

The Heart Behind Tres  Luzes

Cookies you can feel good about

I was vegan for almost six years, which basically means I’ve tried every weird ingredient swap known to mankind and survived. I’ve always had food sensitivities… and then I married someone who can eat literally anything except healthier ingredients. The cleaner it is, the faster his stomach waves the white flag, but hand him a cookie and he’s suddenly invincible.

Now I’m a mom of three, so finding snacks without food dyes, refined sugar, mystery oils, or ingredients that make kids act like they’re auditioning for a circus is… a full-time job. I don’t want my kids to feel like they’re missing out.  I just want them to eat things that don’t send their mood or their little bodies into chaos.

So here I am, recreating all the treats kids love, but with ingredients that won’t betray them. And yes, I’ve tested a lot of recipes, because gluten-free can taste like cardboard faster than you can say “why is this crumbly?!”

Tres Luzes is basically my love letter to good ingredients, happy tummies, and cookies that don’t require a warning label ( unless you're allergic to nuts)

People always ask, “Why a skeleton? And why Tres Luzes?”

Honestly… it started with our kids. They became obsessed with skeletons. Every night they wanted “the skeleton story,” so he basically moved in and became part of our bedtime routine. He was not the spooky kind, but the goofy, lovable kind you’d invite to family dinner.

Tres Luzes means “three lights,” named after our three kids who inspire the stories, the recipes, and all the chaos in between.

And the skeleton?

He stuck because he’s funny, sweet, and totally unbothered by life especially when he’s eating almond butter, even if it goes straight through him. He’s our reminder not to take things too seriously.

Tres Luzes is simply that:

our kids, our stories, our light… and a skeleton who can’t keep almond butter in his body.
